JULY 2006 - LISA WINS
UNIVERSITY MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP! Lisa will be starting a full time BSc degree in Music Technology in September. She auditioned for the Music Scholarship a few months ago alongside many classical musicians playing violins, flutes and other orchestral instruments and was stunned when she found out a few days later that she'd won the scholarship. APRIL 2004 - T-SHIRTS The artwork for The Playgirls T-shirts is complete and incorporates our new logo. Our sponsor, "2 The Max" are currently making up the first batch of T-shirts which will hopefully be on sale from Easter onwards. All T-shirts are priced at £10. "2 The Max" supply many high street stores and the same T-shirts sell for over £15 in most places. |

MARCH 2004 - SPONSORSHIP The Playgirls have sponsorship from Groovy Distribution for art work for our T-shirts and we have received the first sketches from the artist. He is a top class cartoonist who works on The Rock Hard Fairies created by Martin Butler at Groovy Distribution. The Playgirls are also sponsored by 2 The Max T-shirts and there will be T-shirts on sale at gigs. Also, thanks to graphic designer Grant for the artwork on the new band backdrop and the 6 track demo EP which will be available for £5 each later this month. Lydie, who is also an artist will be producing the art work for our forthcoming 4 track EP of original music. |
